I really love seeing people try to make a difference in the internet. May it be big things or small or even just an idea! Take for example Efren Penaflorida and his kariton classroom. Taking in gang children and changing their lives as educators.
I'm here to discuss one such person. You probably don't know him or have not heard of him but he's pretty famous in myspace (I don't own an account there btw.) He sings songs and plans on dominating the world and creating a utopia where FUN COMES FIRST BEFORE ANYTHING!
I mean, what would be more awesome than that? People today are busier than ever before. I NEVER receive any "hello" texts or messages anymore unlike before. And this makes me sad.

Current Events <|> CNN Hero of the Year.
Is a Filipino! Mabuhay ka! =D http://www.cnn.com/2009/LIVING/11/16/cnnheroes.tribute.show/index.html
Life <|> Me.
I'm not the dream guy every girl is going crazy about.
I'm just a guy who still believes that there are princesses out there needing help escaping giant dragons and stinky ogres.
I'll just prolly describe myself in my own honest view.
I'm pretty simple to understand. Just don't get on my angry side w/c I rarely show.
I can call myself as a 'jack-of-all-trades' because literally, I am. I can do many things but mastering them is another story in another book in another bookshelf in another library in another school in another state in another country in another continent.
I play basketball but I don't shoot. In fact, I suck at it.
I also play badminton. Now I can prolly kick ass with this one.
I'm not that 'hunk' guy but I'm not fat either. (NO I AM NOT.)
I have a dimple on my left cheek. I think that's one of my assets.
I hate information I'm not interested in. I don't ingest what I don't want to know.
I hate math. I can prolly own you with history.
I like to draw things. Draw stick figures. Draw ancient weapons. Draw some odd-looking people. Draw my world in a stupid and ugly way.
I daydream a lot.
I get happy (and angry) at the simplest things such as smiles and hugs (I love hugs.)
I love sweet stuff. Chocolate. Candies. Junk food. Carbonated drinks.
I hate noisy people. (Though I'm noisy myself.)
I'm pretty good when it comes to manners. I hate people who are not. HATE THEM.
I want to travel if you would finance it.
I love to play games. Any console will do as long as it isn't tetris or pacman.
I sing pretty well if I may say so myself.
I'm not particular with my looks. I, frankly, don't give a damn.
I am bored with the usual stuff and often look for something new to try or something like that.
I can say I'm pretty ordinary. Pretty clumsy. Sometimes dumber than a monkey. Sometimes can't distinguish left from right. I'm not dreamy. I'm not that boy you dreamed of coming in a shining armor. I'm just someone who is trying to live life like you. Survive each day with nothing more than yesterday's experience and tomorrow's hopes. Loving like hell expecting to be loved back. Looking for that security from my other half. Being envied by those who has not found theirs' yet.
I'm still waiting for my princess. Whether she's in need of help or not, I don't care. I'll come rushing with my sword and shield. Even princes get tired too. Don't make me wait too long because just around the corner is another princess and so is the corner after.
I'm loyal not faithful.
Faithful, IMO, is like being a dog who follows her around. Carries her things. Buys her drinks. Goes where she goes.
Loyal, IMO, is not being there but at the end of the day, you know s/he is coming back to you whatever the circumstance is. Makes you feel important even if s/he's not around.
I'm finishing this post. End~
p.s. Princess, princess, I'm still waiting! <3

Life <|> Epicness of Luck
Last Friday, November 7, 2009, was the day of our courtesy call with DHL who is our partner for our JA-mini company.
Our original schedule was:
9am -------- leave CKSC premises .
9-10am --- travel time allotted for travel from CKSC to JAPI office in Makati
10-1pm --- meeting with Sir Krishna.
1-2pm ----- travel time allotted for travel from JAPI office in Makati to DHL HQ.
2-4/5pm -- meeting with DHL officers
5-7pm ----- travel time allotted for travel from Bicutan to Manila and home.
It all starts at the CKSC Narra campus where I'm in the middle of deciding if I will join the commute gals/guys or with Andrew Alianan and co. (Sarah Hatol, Benson Kotah, Annie Tio) for a joyride. I decided that I'll go join Andrew for a joyride for a change. We then rode off after saying goodbye to the other members of the team.
We enjoyed our trip from CKSC to the entrance of Makati. We listened and shared experiences, jokes, songs and whatnot. Sudenly, *BOOM*. -silence- *looks at the back of the car* -realize we've been hit by a *dun dun dun* BUS.- I mean WhAt ThE fUdGe?! It was a freagging speeding BUS. We could've died or something like that. You know what happened? The car just sustained a dent. A really not so big dent. Barely noticable when you're afar. The here comes the great traffic enforcer and the negotiations begin.
10 minutes pass..
We (who are not part of the negotiations) talk about Mayors and politics.
20 minutes pass..
We talk about vacations spots.
30 minutes pass..
The negotiations finish.
We are free to go after that. The other members who commuted have already reached the JAPI HQ and were calling us like crazy asking where we are. So we hurry and drive towards our destination and SUDDENLY AGAIN the car stops. It stops near an intersection. It just stopped. Pfft. Chug chug chug. Chug chug chug. Andrew turned to us and said: It won't start. Benson and I got down and started to push the car. Benson was wearing formal long sleeve polo and I was wearing our congressman style uniform and we were pushing a car in the middle of the road in the middle of Makati. Good thing Marc Logan wasn't there to video us and present us in some TV show or my mom would kill me. =D
While we were pushing our car, Sarah was inside the car laughing at us while Annie was stepping on the break occasionally. After 2 red lights, we made it across and continued to push to the nearest McDonald's. We parked the car at the parking lot and we had lunch.
(For Ricson and Mike O.) OH BOY! There were a lot of #7s and #8s (Hawk Eye & Heat Seeking reference) having lunch! Not only my stomach was full but also my eyes and brain. (End Transmission)
Andrew then said that the car would be left at McDonald's and we were to walk to the JAPI office at the end of the road. After walking for awhile, we decided to take a taxi. xD
We arrived at Trafalgar Building 12:00. 2 hours late. We shared part of our experience with the other members and we were told that the DHL HQ was in Bicutan. WTF.
We then split into groups as finding a vehicle to transport all of us would be impossible. Andrew and co went on a group and I went with Sir Krishna, Cristina Limcaco and Charles Adrian Dominique Ang. Our taxi was !@#$#$% and it didn't know where to go and kept on asking us. We rode a taxi because we didn't know the way and the taxi driver kept on asking us where. To make matters worse, our taxi was GAS powered and kept on stopping. F U inventor or GAS powered taxi. F U. So after 2 hours or so, we arrived at the DHL HQ.
After an introduction, tour, mirienda and talk, we were finally headed home. Or so we thought. It was almost 6pm and rush hour was already taking its toll. Tax lane was full, jeep lane was full too. Albert and the gang decided to wait at the jeep lane. I left the PSP on Andrew's car so I had to go with Andrew and co. to get it back. Sir Krishna and us decided to have dinner as the taxi line is a very long line. We ate at Cebu Lechon or something like that. Sir shared with us some of his weird experiences in JAPI. After which we decided to go home and what greeted us was a x2 longer taxi waiting dudes/dudettes. We walked and walked and walked till we got an Innova Taxi to ourselves and drove to Makati. Jokes were exchanged and so are stories that I won't type here anymore as this is getting long and I'm getting lazy typing.
When we reached McDonald's (where we left the car) we thanked the manager for letting us park the car for such a long time and took time pee-ing. Launched away! While driving, the car stopped AGAIN. D': but now we know why. It overheated. So we pushed the car (again) to the roadside while we were cooling it off, Annie and Sarah bought some bottled water. We showered the engine and steam came out. Now that's HOT. After 30 mins or so the car is semi-refreshed and we're good to go.
We talked about several issues that again, I won't type, while going to LRT2 bla bla bla. We got there rode to Recto and finally got home. I got home at 10PM. Tired, hungry but happy. This is one hell of a day I won't ever ever forget.

Games&History <|> Ragnarok Online vs. Real History
Being an avid fan of mythologies, my 4th year thesis paper is about Norse Myth, I can't help but compare.
Ragnarok Online + Ragnarok Manwha + Ragnarok the Animation vs. Norse Ragnarok Myth.
For one, the word 'Ragnarok' signifies the end of the rule of gods and start of humanity. This will be triggered by the death of Baldur, son of Odin. All the gods and goddesses of Asgard, led by Odin, will fight against the Giants and other creatures led by Loki. The world will be engulfed in flames then after the world has recovered, a couple will start to repopulate the world and thus starting the rule of man. The funny thing is that they know it's coming and they are damn well ready for it.
On the side of the game, manwha, and animation, 'Ragnarok' is being prevented by the gods because they do not want their rule over the world to end. I'm not sure of what will trigger this on the GMA side but it seems that Chaos or 'Baldur' is trapped inside a human body after being 'reborn'. Along with him are Iris Irene, cleric from Payon, Fenris Fenrir, warlock who is supposed to be a 'bad wolf' on the myth but is portrayed as a hot smexy warlock who is apparently searching for Baldur's 'God Body', Loki, suave assassin and again is supposed to be the leader of the 'baddies' but he is not, and Lidia, a thief. The gods are, apparently, divided. Odin and Freya are apparently good. The rest of the others are either humanized or evil. The protagonists are the 'Valkyries' which are supposedly collecting good and brave warriors that have fallen in the battlefield.
Gladsheim or Glast Heim (place of joy) on RO is supposedly the place where the gods&goddesses gather to debate is pictured as the undead's sanctuary and houses one of the meanest badassed boss in RO..
Oh, and did I mention Odin's faithful ravens are 2 girlies calling themselves as 'The Beholders' bringing doom to all?
So I say that there is no relation of the original myth to the G-M-A at all. Don't try to inter-relate them. Just don't.
Maybe I'll go rant about Age of Mythology and the actual myths involved.

School <|> FAIL
That's the one word I said when I got our draft for our strategy paper.
Why?
We got an astounding 65! Yes! 65! Epic fail. Epic phail. T'was 70 but because yours truly submitted it late, it got -5. I don't think it's that bad though.. I mean 2/6 working members?! Yeah.
I was at the point of asking if I could do this project solo. Then our inspirational leader (no sarcasm, he is great.) told me that he doesn't want to abandon some poor creatures. So we ended up making it. Every page has a cute 'x' mark on it. Some even has circles on it!.
This thesis paper is 20% of our final grade. And I'm clinging on to the other 80% because I really don't get the feeling that this one's gonna pull through by itself. I'd go memorize the entire book if I must just to get that 80%.
This is the first ever project/paper that I placed so much effort but still failed. On other papers, I got members that DO help in RIGHT ways and actually do GOOD stuff to put in our paper. But in this moment of this sem, I freaking want to split heads in 2's or 4's or whichever they prefer. I mean, I don't really take things seriously but this one got me serious then it fails.
I'm really very uber hyper mega ultra super disappointed on myself right now and I plan on rewriting this thing and try to cope up and get this thing back on track. *cross fingers*
By the way, the team I used to be with got 85. We got separated due to class size. I got to get moved to another section and thus, another set of members. I miss my old group. D':

Friends <|> Come home Bev! D':
She is... dun dun dun...! Beverly Jean Ngo! =D
She's been my classmate from 1st year high school to 4th year high school although I already have heard about her during my grade 6 days. (Quite famous if I should say.)
How did I meet her? Here's a boring story.
There I was, 1st day of my 1st year in high school. I was with my classmate and close friend Winston. Talking about the good old elementary days. I was scanning the surroundings for potential instant friends. Being of shy nature *ahem* I was not able to make any use of my surrounding-scanning.
Then I met her. (period.)
.

...
..
.
Really. That's the whole story.
After that, we became good friends. Well, on my side of the story, I can say she's been a really really really good friend. (Besides the fact that my mom used to tambay at her house with her (Bev's) mom.)
She's the most approachable, positive thinking, kind, understanding and gentle friend you will ever EVER encounter. She rarely (or never) gets mad. Always smiling at everyone. Always. Favorite class president/vice president of our class. Good advice giver. Fun to be with. Very reliable at times when people need her advices. Organizer of class gatherings and such. A model to her little sister and little brothers. (unlike me lol)) She's always bubbly and cheerful. Even if you fail a major exam, you will feel like smiling because she's just there, spreading the laughter and happiness around. And most of all VAIN!! (Her vain-ness is very contagious. I get it most of the time when she decides to be vain and drain my phone's battery. ;p
SAMPLE:

Bev and Me during 2007 school's anniv celebration.
But then.. She's in Canadaland now. We're all left in
So Bev, if you are reading this, COME HOME NAO! =D

Weather <|> Shit weather from last week to this week.
Blogs here will be totally random and somewhat different than of that in my multiply account.
So, this'll be my first post here in this blog. And I'm going to rant about... Our awesome unstable and crappy weather!
Last week and this present and about to end week, the weather's... Feeling under the weather. Sunny and warm mornings turn into dark and devastating strong windy and rainy afternoons. It is really annoying and frustrating for the weather to play on us like that because planned 'gimmiks' and 'lakwatsas' are postponed or cancelled.
Too bad college students are left to suffer. Our classes are only suspended when roofs are flying, streets are flooded and winds are threatening to rip your sorry soul out of your body.
Signal number three that is.
'It's because you ARE college students.'
So what?
As quoted and edited from Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice:
I am a college student. Hath not a college student eyes? Hath not a college student hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions; fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer as an elementary and a high school student is? If you set hard quizzes do we not fail? If you send us out in the rain do we not get wet? If you subject us to harmful elements do we not get sick? If you subject us to strong winds and rain showers do our EXPENSIVE books not get wet? If you subject us to strong winds do our umbrellas not get destroyed? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that.
I say that the signal number three is stupid. We deserve to have equal suspension criteria as high school students!
Some seem to enjoy this weather though.. The get to "score" if you know what I mean. ;)

There goes my two cents. I rest my case.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away. But if the apple is rotten the doctor will come right away.
